President of the Valencian Region Golf Federation
Andrés Torrubia’s dedication to the world of golf has led him to hold positions such as member of the Rules and Courses Committee of the Valencian Region Golf Federation between 1993 and 1999, a body of which he was the president between 1999 and 2002 too.
Among the merits considered to award him with the Gold Medal for Merit in Golf, it was taken into account that Andrés Torrubia ‒in his capacity as regional, national and international referee and as a member of the PGA European Tour has formed part of the Spanish Federation’s Rules and Courses Committee as well as of its governing board from 2011 to the present day.
He has held the presidency of the Valencian Region Golf Federation since 2010.
